Payroll Giving
The easy way to give tax free donations directly from your salary.
What is payroll giving?
Payroll giving is where employees can donate to Brambles or the MS Society directly from their gross salary benefiting the employee and the charity.
How does it work?
As the donation comes from your gross salary, the tax you would have paid is also given to the charity. So, for example, if you pledge £10 from your gross salary, it only costs you £7.80 (at the 22% rate of tax) or just £6.00 (at the 40% rate of tax), but the charity gets the full £10.
How do you get started?
Talk to your HR department to find out if they are registered with a payroll giving agency. If they are not, we can help them set up a scheme; please call 01293 780476 or email Andrea Keating.
